Damage Control for the Eyes
We hear about the harmful effects of blue light in electronic devices, but believe it or not, most of our blue light exposure comes from the sun. In fact, the reason the sky is blue is because the blue end of the visible light spectrum scatters more easily than other colors. While it’s normal to absorb blue light during the day, blue light from devices can be damaging to the eyes.
Physician’s Choice Eye Health formula contains the six key ingredients from the renowned AREDS2 studies, as well as award-winning Lutemax 2020, folate, bilberry, grape seed and Bioperine. All of these ingredients work together to provide a complete eye health formula that can help preserve your vision, reduce eye-strain-related headaches, and improve your visual processing speed.
We used the data collected from the AREDS (Age-Related Eye Disease Study) Study as a foundation for our physician-approved formula. The bioactive elements in Vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B12, zinc, copper were all shown to safely improve eye health.1
In addition, the other ingredients in the formula support the base ingredients from the AREDS2 study. The 3:1 bilberry extract has been clinically shown to reduce eye fatigue,2 especially for people who work in front of a computer screen all day, grape seed extract to help slow macular degeneration,3 and award-winning Lutemax 2020, which helps support an overall improvement in visual performance.4
AREDS2 Study Based Ingredients
Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B12, Zinc and Copper: In the Age-Related Eye Disease Study (AREDS2), the bioactive elements of these vitamins and minerals were shown to improve eye health.
Lutemax 2020: Award-winning and globally recognized Lutemax 2020 is a naturally derived marigold extract that provides all three macular carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin) shown to help protect the eye’s photoreceptor cells.
Bilberry 4:1 Extract: Bilberry is composed of antioxidants called anthocyanosides that aid in supporting blood flow to the retina. Bilberry may also help improve night vision by enhancing the production of eye pigmentation that helps us adapt to darkness.
Bioperine: This is a black pepper extract found in many of our supplements because of its ability to increase the absorption of nutritional compounds, making Physician’s Choice supplements as effective as possible.
As a dietary supplement, take two capsules once daily with water for eye health.
