Vitamin supplements made to support strong, shiny hair and long, sturdy nails are available in almost every vitamin shop, drugstore, supermarket, and online retail shop in the world. Hair/skin supplements are even available through big-box stores.

The problem: Many of these formulas haven't been developed by physicians. That means they contain a mix of vitamins that may not improve your hair or nails at all. Some even contain ingredients that interact with prescription medications, increasing your risk of a vitamin-induced health problem.

Quality You Can Trust

Our supplement is different. We worked with a team of doctors, nutritionists, and herbalists to create a proprietary mix of vitamins and supplements to enhance the health, length, and strength of your hair and nails.

We include clinically proven ingredients, such as biotin. But we also include powerful ingredients you just won't find anywhere else, including l-tyrosine, horsetail extract, and nettle root. These ingredients, studied for decades as part of traditional formulations, may significantly improve the appearance and underlying health of your skin and nails.

Protection From Contamination

All of our ingredients come from non-GMO sources. We work closely with small, family farms to supply us with the herbs and supplements we offer our customers. We visit those farms frequently, and we inspect each harvest before we put a batch on the market.

Our quality process ensures a product you can trust. Few other manufacturers go to these lengths to protect their customers.

Clinically Proven Dosing

Vitamins aren't benign. They are powerful, and if used at improper doses, they can also be dangerous. That's why we have physicians on staff that help us understand the appropriate dose to place in the capsules we offer our customers.

For example, we know from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (1) that the appropriate folic acid dose is 800 µg per day. That is the amount we put in our doses. We could save money and cut that dose in half, but we wouldn't provide you with the protection your hair and nails deserve. We never skimp on ingredients to save money. We always offer just the right dose.

We package our supplements in veggie capsules. These capsules are designed to break down within the digestive tract, not your throat, so you will not taste the ingredients at any point. We've tested our capsules carefully, and we know they break down within the acidic environment of the stomach. Not all capsules do (which leads to incredible vitamin waste).

We invite you to try our product today. Your hair and nails will thank you.

Nutrients such as biotin, horsetail extract, and nettle root are vital for healthy hair, skin, and nails. In particular, thinning hair, itchy, scaly, and/or inflamed skin, and even brittle nails are typically signs of a biotin deficiency [1]. Accordingly, research usually shows that biotin supplementation can restore thick hair, improve the health of the skin, and promote hard, strong nails [1-3].

Horsetail extract is an especially powerful herb that contains an ample amount of vitamins and minerals such as B vitamins, vitamins C, E, and K, potassium, sodium, iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, and copper, to name a few [4, 5]. However, horsetail is also an excellent source of silica, which is a mineral that strengthens brittle nails, improves the longitudinal grooves of the fingernails, and reduces splitting [6].

Similarly, the silica in horsetail extract has been shown to lower the fall-out rate of thinning hair, to boost thickness and overall volume, and to enhance its sheen [7]. Silica also plays a role in the production of collagen in the skin, thereby improving skin elasticity. Accordingly, horsetail is associated with advanced wound healing and shorter periods of skin pain following certain types of surgery [8].

Another herb that is a good source of vitamins and minerals, including silica, is Nettle root, which makes this botanical beneficial toward improving skin irritation (e.g. blemishes), targeting hair loss, and promoting hair regrowth [9].

Another essential, but often overlooked nutrient that boosts hair, nail, and skin health is folic acid. This is because folic acid plays a major role in the growth and development of cells throughout the body, including those in the skin, nails, and hair. It also supports the health of red blood cells [10]. Oxygen and additional nutrients are transported through the blood, which means that folic acid support optimal blood circulation.

In some cases, a folic acid deficiency may even be linked to premature graying of the hair [11]. The gradual loss of pigment in the hair gives it a white/gray appearance. Additional signs of a folic acid deficiency include: pale skin, thinning hair, and pigmentation changes in the nails and hair [11, 12].

An L-tyrosine deficiency is also linked to pigmentation problems as the body requires adequate levels of this amino acid in order to convert it to dihydroxyphenylalaine (DOPA), and the conversion of tyrosine actually initiates a process known as melanogenesis [11, 13].

Melanogenesis refers to the production of melatonin, which is the primary pigment in hair, skin, nails, and even the eyes [14]. Therefore, taking L-tyrosine and folic acid regularly is important for the maintenance of healthy melatonin levels throughout the body.

Although combining the right type of ingredients is necessary to achieve the desired health benefits, potency is also important. Research indicates that doses of 800 micrograms (mcg) of folic acid are required daily to maintain optimal health. Furthermore, this therapeutic dose helps reduces the risk of stroke, hinders age-related cognitive decline, and targets certain types of cancer in addition to supporting vibrant, skin, hair, and nails [15-17].
