7 Reasons Why Women Over 60 on Ozempic Are Switching to This Fiber Gummy
If you're over 60 and taking Ozempic, Zepbound, or Mounjaro, you may finally feel in control of your appetite again. But the constipation can be frustrating, exhausting, and hard to fix especially when nothing seems to work anymore.
EYEBROW: The GLP-1 Constipation Fix That Actually Works With Your Medication
We saw an ad about this - it was a good value for the money. My wife takes this every day as part of her supplements. They taste great and help with digestion. The gummies are a great size and taste and have low sugar content.
1. It's Formulated for a Gut That's Already Slowed Down
Most fiber supplements were made for normal digestion, not for slowed digestion from GLP-1 medications like semaglutide.
Physician’s Choice Fiber Gummies use chicory root inulin, a prebiotic fiber that works even when your gut slows down. It supports natural movement by feeding the good bacteria in your digestive system.
“Works really well and easy to take every day. The taste is actually pretty good and not too strong. Helped with regularity after a short time. Feels like a good addition to the routine.”
- Midwest Special Value.
2. No Sugar Alcohols Making Constipation Worse
Most fiber gummies use sorbitol or xylitol ingredients that can cause extra gas, bloating, and harder stools when digestion is already slowed.
Physician’s Choice uses chicory root fiber as the sweetener instead, giving you gentle prebiotic support without the added bloating.
“These have more fiber then the other brand I took. I have to eat more than recommended for health issues. Having more fiber per gummy makes it easier to get the amount I need.”
- Zengwen.
3. It Feeds the Bacteria Your Medication Is Starving
GLP-1 medications can slow digestion by starving the gut bacteria responsible for regular bowel movement. Chicory root inulin delivers 5g of prebiotic fiber to feed those bacteria, helping restore natural gut movement and support long-term regularity
“I usually struggle with supplements, but this one is different. The taste is really enjoyable, almost like a treat, so I don’t skip days. I’ve also noticed it helps keep my digestion more comfortable. It feels like something I can actually stick with long term without forcing myself.”
- Michelle Turner
4. GLP-1 Users Report Results Within Days, Not Weeks
After 3 years on GLP-1s, nothing worked for the constipation until one simple switch did. Women in GLP-1 groups say swapping sugar-alcohol fiber for chicory root inulin got things moving again within days, not weeks.
“After using it for a while, I started noticing better digestive comfort and overall regularity. It’s not something that works overnight, but with consistent use, the difference becomes clear. I also like that it doesn’t upset my stomach like some fiber products do. Simple, clean, and effective.”
- Daniel Brooks
5. It Works WITH Your Medication, Not Against It
Your GLP-1 medication works to stabilize blood sugar, your fiber supplement shouldn’t work against it. Physician’s Choice gummies are sugar-free, prebiotic, and designed to support appetite control and healthy digestion without blood sugar spikes.
“I’ve tried a few fiber supplements before, but I always end up forgetting them. These gummies changed that for me. The taste is really good, so it feels more like a small treat than a supplement. After a couple of weeks, I noticed my digestion felt more regular and less uncomfortable. It’s now just part of my morning routine without effort.”
- Jessica Morgan
6. It's the Fiber Nurses Actually Recommend
Women over 60 on GLP-1 medications often struggle with severe constipation, and common fixes like Miralax and fiber gummies usually don’t solve the real problem. Many medical professionals now recommend a doctor-formulated, GLP-1 compatible option with prebiotic fiber and no sugar alcohols to support natural gut movement.
“What stood out to me is how gentle it is. No bloating, no weird aftertaste, just a smooth experience overall. I take it daily and it’s helped keep things more consistent. It’s also convenient because I don’t have to mix anything or drink powders. Simple and effective.”
- Kevin Harris
7. It Protects Your GLP-1 Journey, Not Just Your Comfort
About 40% of GLP-1 users who stop within 6 months don’t quit because the drug fails, they stop due to side effects, with constipation being the most common. Many who succeed long-term address this early, before it becomes severe enough to disrupt treatment. Fiber isn’t just comfort, t’s what helps keep people consistent on their weight loss journey.
“My schedule is hectic, so I need supplements that don’t require effort. These fit perfectly. I just take them and move on with my day. The fiber content helps me stay on track without overthinking it. Definitely a practical option.”
- Michael Anderson
